Terms of Service

Plain terms for an honest service. No fine-print traps — if anything here is unclear, reach the operator via /verify.

What this service is

findmypassword.net helps you recover access to data you can prove is yours — forgotten passwords, encrypted documents, archives, and wallet files. It is not a tool for reaching anyone else's data, and we will not use it that way.

Proof of ownership, every time

Every job requires you to prove the data belongs to you: a signed declaration plus evidence only the owner would know. If you cannot prove ownership, we decline — no exceptions.

Fees: no-key, no-fee

There is no upfront charge. If we recover your access, we agree a fee in writing beforehand and you pay only that. If we do not recover, you pay nothing — literally.

No guarantee of recovery

Recovery is best-effort. Some files genuinely cannot be recovered, and we will not over-promise. If your case looks impossible, we tell you so before asking you to commit to anything.

Your responsibilities

You confirm the data is yours and that your purpose is lawful, and you do not misrepresent any of it. You do not request work on behalf of a third party without the authority to do so.

Liability, changes, and contact

Our liability is limited to the fees you have actually paid us. We may update these terms; material changes are announced on-site. To discuss any of this, reach the operator through the PGP-verified channels at /verify.
